I spent seventeen years as a Minister of Religion, and in that time I officiated at dozens of weddings, not to mention funerals, baby dedications and renewals of vows. I bring that experience to my new role as a Civil Celebrant. I’ve done all sorts of weddings: fun and quirky, refined and laid-back, and anything else you can imagine.
As well as becoming a Marriage Celebrant, I’m currently training to be a primary school teacher. I’ve always loved working with children, and one of the biggest buzzes I get is when I see the look on a kid’s face when they realise they’ve just done something they’ve never been able to before.
In case you’re wondering, I’m happily married to Trudy, and together we have two adult daughters, Shekinah and Charis!
