My base fee for a wedding is $400 (GST inclusive). This includes the rehearsal, the ceremony, the paperwork, NOIM lodgment and reasonable travel.
If a greater level of service is needed, it may be necessary to charge more to cover my expenses. For example, if I have to travel a long distance, or I require accommodation, I may have to charge accordingly. Similarly, if the ceremony is more complex than usual I may have to charge more to reflect the extra work involved. However, we will negotiate the final fee when you first engage my service, so there won’t be any surprises. I’ll draw up a Service Agreement that will detail the costs and expectations.
Payment is usually made in two parts. I require a booking fee of $200 when the NOIM is lodged, and the balance is due two weeks before the wedding. Alternatively, we can negotiate a payment plan, so long as the fee is paid in full two weeks before the big day.
